The objective was to take APHID Consulting’s existing technical content and forge a visually commanding, standardized presentation system suitable for high-level client engagements. The assignment encompassed redesigning approximately twenty core business slides, transforming a series of functional documents into a compelling, professional strategic proposal tool.
Context
As an IT consulting firm, APHID’s technical credibility was being undermined by a glaring lack of visual consistency and polish in their external communications. Their project proposals were technically robust but aesthetically inferior, leading to a perception gap. The critical issue was achieving visual parity with their sophisticated technical offering, requiring a design system that projected competence and authority to secure premium-level contracts.

Overview
The most immediate need was to establish visual rules for all communication. This was handled by strictly using the colors and style of the existing APHID logo, which instantly created a professional foundation. The focus was on building a flexible template that could easily manage a large amount of complex data—like solution diagrams and project scopes—making them easy for business leaders to understand quickly.
Challenge
The biggest hurdle was designing a new visual guide from scratch and fitting dense technical details (like project steps and team functions) into a clear, visual structure. The design had to guide the client smoothly from the big-picture goals to the detailed technical requirements without causing confusion or losing their attention.
Solution
I used the brand’s maroon and grey colors strategically to create high contrast and color-code different sections and data points. A resourceful solution was creating a custom library of simple icons specifically for their IT categories (e.g., communication, reporting). The design also used large, bold numbering to clearly map out complicated lists, ensuring that consultants can now quickly build polished presentations without needing constant design support.
Results
The launch of the professional presentation system immediately boosted APHID’s market presence and efficiency. For the consultants, the easy-to-use templates reduced the time spent preparing slides by roughly 35%, offering a clear, quantifiable saving in internal labor costs.
